Frequently asked questions.

Why does it cost me nothing?

As long as a qualifying benefit receiver resides in the property, then the government will issue grants to support you and help insulate and heat your home in a much more economical and financially viable way.

My property has a higher than D rating on the energy performance certificate (EPC), what does this mean?

Unfortunately, following the government guidelines in order to qualify your home must have a D or lower rating. This is due to the fact that the government considers a C-rated property the minimum for proficiency.

How long will it take?

Upon applying through our online form, we will work to get in touch with you within 1-2 working days. After this, we like to say it will take between 2-3 weeks with installs normally only taking 3-4 working days to complete.

My property is rented by a private landlord am I still eligible?

If your property qualifies but you are currently living in a rented property, we advise you to discuss this with your landlord as you are still eligible but would need written permission from your landlord.
